Carbon peel laser is a superficial skin resurfacing laser treatment which helps to improve skin appearance with brighter and even skin tone, it’s not a traditional peel. It’s an outpatient procedure, its effective, its fast, its affordable, its painless and only requires a quick appointment.

Carbon Peel laser helps to exfoliate skin and stimulate collagen production. It can also be recommended to people with sensitive skin or with skin conditions like eczema. Indications of carbon Peel lasers are acne, acne pigmentation, enlarged and clogged pores, suntanning, photoaging, melasma, fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone and dull and oily skin.

During your appointment, Dr. Krishi Mandaliya, Aesthetic Doctor and Skin Expert at NVYA Aesthetics will spread a thin layer of liquid carbon onto your face, the purpose of this carbon is to absorb oil, dirt, and dead skin cells within the pores. We will wait for approximately 10 minutes for the liquid carbon to dry.

After the carbon has dried, we will make you wear an eye shield to protect your eyes from the Laser. The second part of the treatment comprises removal of the carbon with the help of short pulses Q switch laser on low energy setting.

Before Care:

You should discuss your skin concerns, past cosmetic procedures, allergies, medical condition, and the procedure with Dr. Krishi Mandaliya to find out whether it’s a right fit for your skin. You should avoid sun exposure, exfoliating, waxing for about few days prior to treatment.

After Care:

Patients can return to normal day-to-day activities immediately after the treatment. However, direct sun exposure should be avoided for few weeks after Carbon peel laser treatment and sunscreen with at least SPF 30 plus is highly recommended every day before stepping out of the house. It is recommended to continue applying moisturizer daily. You might experience some flaking or dryness for a few days after the treatment. Do not exfoliate, wax or use abrasive skin treatment for at least one week after the procedure.

Carbon peel laser will breakdown unwanted melanin cells that causes the skin to appear uneven and dull. The thermal heat production from the laser will cause collagen production in the dermis layer of the skin, which will help to improve skin laxity and tightens open pores. This laser facial is suitable for all skin types and the result achieved after one session are brighter skin tone, reduction of pigmentation and fine lines.

Recommended treatment sessions depend on individual skin type and condition. Generally, four to six sessions are recommended to see improvement in skin tone, texture, and appearance at an interval of three to four weeks. Each sitting only requires 45 to 50 minutes with no downtime.
